stars did on there way to fame and fortune. Wherever possible Ive tried to include
some pictures or a movie of the offending celebrity.

Pierce Brosnan:
Although he was already playing tv roles eg Remmington Steele, Pierce Brosnan played a secret agent like character in a diet coke commercial 1988. In the commercial he casually takes out several ninjas in a bar all things considered it was quite good really
rather than shamefull.
Joshua Jackson: before starring in a series of adverts for suicide otherwise known as Dawsons Creek
Joshua debuted on our screens in a commercial for Keebler Potato Chips and then for British Columbia Tourism (1987) before landing a role in The Mighty Ducks 92.
Robert Downey Sr:
Its cheating a bit but how could I fail to include Robert Downey Sr and his TV commercial for Preparation H (1965)
he was doing not so spectacular films at the time.
OJ Simpson:
More pre infamy than pre-fame. Although obviously famous as a football player already
OJ appeared in TV commercials for Chevrolet Nova (1970) and for Hertz Rental Car Agency. (1976-80) Whether they would rent him a car these
days is another matter. Better yet he starred in Print ads for Dingo Boots where children would dream of having dingo
boots so they could be like OJ.
Kurt russell:
Kurt was on TV from a young age "Sugarfoot" (1957) in 1966 aged 15 he did a commercial for Zero-M Toys.
He found international fame for roles like Escape from New York.
The intrigue here really comes from the ad. It was for an all-purpose weapon called the Zero-M from Mattel Toys.
It doubled as a camera and gun, in the advert a young Kurt is summoned by a secret society hidden in his bedroom closet,
led by Alfred from the 'Batman' series who instruct Kurt to go out into the community armed to the teeth to do their bidding.
Can you imagine the reaction an ad like that would get these days.
Keanu Reeves:
Before entering the matrix and traveling through time in excellent adventures Keanu made his tv debut
whoring coca cola in a (1983) tv commercial and having a more mundane adventure with some Kellogg's Corn Flakes in (1987)
Susan Sarandon:
Prior to The Rocky Horror Picture Show you could have seen Susan slipping into some pantyhose
when she graced a commercial for Magic Lady Panty Hose (1971).
Alicia Silverstone:
Despite getting herself legally emancipated from her parents so she could act as an adult and winning MTVs best villain
award for her role in the crush from what I can find Alicia had already appeared in a TV commercial
for dominos pizza yet another of the spotless and beautifull junk food kids.
